Hi there!

I’m Amy, a VIT registered and practising teacher with extensive experience teaching, tutoring and supporting a diverse range of learners across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.

I created Grow Studio to provide the kind of learning support I believe every child deserves - explicit, structured, encouraging and responsive to each child’s individual needs.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with many wonderful students who have needed just a little more time, repetition and explicit teaching than a busy classroom can provide. Many parents know how hard it can be to watch their child’s confidence fade as small learning gaps grow into significant barriers - not because their child lacks ability, but because schools often have limited time and resources to provide the personalised support some children need.

Grow Studio was created to bridge that gap. Using evidence-based literacy and numeracy teaching, I meet each child at their point of need in their learning journey, strengthening the foundational skills that underpin their future success. By breaking learning into manageable steps, celebrating progress and creating a calm, supportive environment, Grow Studio helps children build strong academic skills, confidence and resilience to see themselves as capable learners.

At Grow Studio I am proud to implement the Brighter Maths program from Maths Australia, a multisensory and structured approach that uses hands-on materials, explicit teaching and carefully sequenced lessons to help children build number sense, confidence and foundational maths understanding.
